MY JOURNEY SO FAR…

It all started when I began my career with Agoda, one of the world's largest and fastest-growing online travel booking platforms as their product designer. I couldn’t be more thankful for my first job there because I was expose to so many incredible opportunities. I had a lot of fun collaborating on different teams where I got to do hands-on design work on multiple products. I particularly enjoyed presenting my designs to stakeholders, brainstorming sessions with designers and Tuesday mornings creative workshop where people would talk about technology and design trends. I was passionate and keen about everything related to design. Being a designer made me very happy and motivated me each day to go to work with a huge smile on my face. 🙂

Later on, I worked at Aleph-labs, a digital experience company spread across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Australia as their Creative Art Director (UX/UI Designer). I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with teams from different countries and learning about their work culture. I worked on multiple projects from discovery to deployment of websites, mobile applications and softwares for clients in industries such as, finance, healthcare and retail.👨🏻‍💻

Working at Aleph-labs made me fall in love with the “Design Thinking Process” and the way it allowed me to be efficient, transparent and focused on creating the best product possible. This was one of the main reason I came to Canada and studied Interaction design in depth at Vancouver Film School and also did my Masters of Digital Media at University of British Columbia. 🇨🇦

“MY HEART IS AT THE INTERSECTION OF PEOPLE AND DESIGN”.

I am someone who enjoys figuring out how to make things work better. While I approach problem-solving strategically, I come alive when collaborating with others to tell stories about solutions that matters. I believe that human-centred design creates meaningful products and services.

BEYOND WORK

I enjoy outdoor activities which helps keep a balance with my work and productivity. I feel refreshed and recharged for work when I get to go out in the nature. I am also an advance scuba diver with more than 100 dives. It is one of my favourite activity to do with my friends and siblings. In Canada, I have developed a certain fondness for hiking. I like going on hikes with my friends whenever I can to escape the city life. Oh! I almost forgot! I have a twin sister who I grew up and shared everything with so collaborating with someone comes to me naturally. I understood the meaning of teamwork and bonding at a very young age. 🐋🐳🐬
